The patronage program is how we share our success with our members, a way of saying thank you for supporting and strengthening your Association.
Dividends reduce the cost of borrowing and are exempt from Puerto Rico's local income tax.
If the Puerto Rico Farm Credit Board of Directors determines we have met our business goals for a given year, our members may receive funds back. These dividends are paid in the form of a percentage of interest on your loan during that calendar year.
If the Board decides to retain all or part of our Association's net income, that decision is made to strengthen our capital position so we can continue to provide you our best level of service.

Our offices will be open on a limited schedule – 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily – to provide assistance to our members. We have stood by our farmers for nearly 100 years and we will continue to stand in solidarity with our resilient island as we begin the recovery process. Please check back for further updates.
